Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has said he does not hate the North as widely believed. In an interview with The Sun, Kanu said he loves former Presidents Shehu Shagari and late Umaru Yar’Adua than Nnamdi Azikwe. Captain of Black Stars of Ghana, Asamoah Gyan, has admitted cheating on his wife, Gifty with another woman who later accused him of raping her to extort money from him in 2015. Gyan and one Sarah Kwablah, a Ghanaian who both met on social media after she sent him a message, had sex in her apartment when he visited Ghana for the 2015 AFCON preparation. The lady who had a camera hidden in her room, recorded the sexual encounter, in which she later used in threatening the striker in order to extort money from him. She accused Asamoah Gyan of forcefully sleeping with her when he had not proposed love to her. Sarah, and Osafo Anthony, a journalist and Chris Handler who's a blogger, were arrested and charged with conspiring to extort money from Samuel Anim Addo, the manager of Asamoah Gyan, while popular reggae musician Lester Ekow Micah, was slapped with the charge of abatement. Pictures of what we called sockaway in one of our Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. It was slit opened initially, they put those chairs when it opened more. Instead of re-constructing it. They left it that way. I arrived in Nigeria few weeks ago but unfortunately I have to visit a friend of mine who was admitted into the teaching hospital and was lucky to pass along the way. So, I was discussing it with some visitors too they have to tell me it has been long they have been seeing it there. It is so pathetic. it's now bringing out odour of putrefaction. The most painful part is that it's just beside CSSD where the sterile supplies of the hospital are handed. It's also close to hospital wards and people use the path a lot. Should they wait till it claims lives b4 rehabilitating it? We hereby call on the management of the hospital to look into this deadly sockaway before it goes out of hand.

Nollywood actor Victor Eze is reportedly dead. The veteran actor died after a brief illness, and this sad news comes just weeks after the demise of actress Moji Olaiya who died in Canada after giving birth. Recall that her body was recently brought home for burial. It is unclear what ailed the veteran actor, but adds that his death has been confirmed by the former President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Mr Segun Arinze. Victor Eze was a highly respected stage actor and dancer. He was famous for his roles in numerous movies and dance productions, but most especially for his role as Alika in epic series, Fuji House of Commotion. We wish his family fortitude to bear this grief. Meanwhile news of his passing is already causing a stir among the ranks of actors.
