Zambian Media Personality Caristo Chitamfya Jr a.k.a Caristo Clear was so elated as he met with football legend, Jay Jay Okocha during German Bundesliga Tour. The young man watched the Derby game between FC Schalke and Borussia Dortmund, in the VIP box with Jay Jay Okocha. According to reports, Jay Jay Okocha described Caristo Chitamfya Jr as a very intelligent, entertaining young man with a bright future. Caristo was reportedly given a warm reception as he also watched other matches during the German football tour. Jay Jay Okocha came to the Bundesliga in 1992, becoming the first Nigerian to play in the German Top flight and in 1993 Okocha scored the goal of the year against Oliver Khan whilst playing for Frankfurt. He also played for PSG in France and Bolton Wanderers in England to mention a few.

Members of the Royal Family have joined families of victims of the Grenfell Tower inferno at St Paul's Cathedral for a memorial service to honour their memories six months after the deadly fire. The blaze at the 24-storey tower in June killed 71 people and injured a further 70, while making hundreds homeless and is believed to have been started by a faulty fridge-freezer before spreading rapidly.  Prince Charles , the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry  are all attending the special service and all looked sombre as they climbed the steps of the famous landmark. The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Jimoh Moshood has stated that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, will not scrapped but reformed despite nationwide protest. Moshood disclosed this at a youth-police forum on Police Accountability in Lagos by Korede Bello Initiative. CSP Moshood urged Nigerians to be patient as the police force was investigating complaints and feel their pains. “We have families and we feel your pain; SARS reform is the way to go and not to end SARS. “SARS has been doing very well in ensuring that robbery is reduced to the barest minimum in the country.
