John McCain Blames His Confusing Comey Questions on Late Diamondbacks Games

Following a bizarre series of questioning from John McCain during former FBI director James Comey’s Senate Intelligence Committee hearing Thursday, the Arizona senator issued a statement regarding the exchange.
“I get the sense from Twitter that my line of questioning today went over people’s heads,” McCain wrote in a statement. “Maybe going forward I shouldn’t stay up late watching the Diamondbacks night games.”
McCain’s questioning came at the end of a nearly three-hour hearing. At one point, he brought up Hillary Clinton’s emails, saying, “You’re going to have to help me out here. We’re complete — the investigation of anything former secretary Clinton had to do in the campaign is over, and we don’t have to worry it any more?”
“I’m a little confused, senator,” Comey answered during the hearing.
“What I was trying to get at was whether Mr. Comey believes that any of his interactions with the president rise to the level of obstruction of justice,” McCain said in his statement.
Senator John McCain He continued, “In the case of Secretary Clinton’s emails, Mr. Comey was willing to step beyond his role as an investigator and state his belief about what ‘no reasonable prosecutor’ would conclude about the evidence.”
McCain reiterated wanting to see Comey apply the same approach to the questioning with Trump as he did regarding Hillary Clinton’s emails.
“While I missed an opportunity in today’s hearing, I still believe this question is important, and I intend to submit it in writing to Mr. Comey for the record,” McCain concluded.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Twitter account shrugged at the statement.

Three Katsina varsity students killed in ghastly motor accident on their way home after exams

  Three students of the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYUK) have died in a ghastly motor accident on their way home after concluding their examinations.   It was gathered that the accident involving a commercial bus occurred along Katsina – Dutsin-ma highway on Tuesday evening, April 20.    The Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the SUG President, Umar Ahmad, who confirmed the report in a statement on Wednesday April 21, said two other students were injured in the accident.    "With immense sorrow, pain and grief, The student's Union Government regret to announce the untimely demised of some students.   A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Minna, Niger State has remanded a housewife, Amina Aliyu along with three other accused persons over allegations of conspiracy and culpable homicide.   LIB   reported that the newlywed, Fatima Aliyu,19, was allegedly beaten to death with a pestle and her body set on fire by Amina in Minna, on Tuesday March 23, seven weeks after her wedding. Amina, who is nursing a three-week-old baby boy was arraigned alongside Aisha Mohammed, Zainab Aliyu and Fauziyya Rabi’u, by operatives of Homicide section of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Niger State Police Command, on Wednesday, March 31.   The accused persons were alleged to have conspired among themselves to kill Amina’s co-wife, Fatima.   According to the Police First Information Report (FIR), Amina Aliyu and Fati Aliyu were both married to the same husband and reside on Mandela Road, Sauka-Kahuta area of Minna.
