Liverpool agree potential club record package for Roma's Mohamed Salah
The extras of the deal for the explosive forward could ultimately reach
£39m, which would serve as the Reds' highest-ever outlay on a player
Mohamed Salah is expected to complete his long-awaited transfer from Roma to Liverpool by Thursday as he travels to undergo a medical in England.
As reported on Monday, the Reds were tying up negotiations with their Serie A counterparts over a deal in excess of £35 million inclusive of add-ons for the 25-year-old.

An agreement has now been reached with the extras, which could ultimately reach £39m, having the potential to make the package the club’s highest outlay on a player.
It would surpass the £35m purchase of Andy Carroll in January 2011.
